Job Summary

The Staff LPN is responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider. This includes rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering medications, performing point of care lab testing, and assisting with procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider.
  • Follows HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management, and Infection Prevention procedures for cleaning and sterilization of equipment and/or instruments.
  • Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing, and medication administration. Assists with medical office procedures.
  • Obtains vital signs, patient history, and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's record.
  • Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients, and present relevant information to the provider with correct medical terminology.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Licensed Practical Nurse
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Trade School Equivalency in Nursing
