We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at Physician Empire in Northern Maine. This is a full-time, salaried position with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care to patients in Northern Maine, with a focus on preventive medicine and disease management.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Competitive salary with a guaranteed minimum of $200,000 for the first six months, followed by a performance-based compensation structure.
- Sign-on bonus available, with half paid upon signing a contract and the remaining half paid upon start of employment.
- 25 days of earned time per year, which can be used for vacation, holidays, or sick leave.
- Affordable medical and dental benefits with a low deductible of $500.
- Reimbursement for necessary licensing and DEA fees with the Board of Medicine in Maine.
- Five days of continuing medical education per year, with a yearly allowance for expenses associated with ongoing education and training.
- Yearly allowance for professional dues and subscriptions.
- Voluntary, tax-free Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan available through payroll deductions.
Our office hours run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 4.5-day workweek and one half-day administrative day. We have a total of two internists on staff, with no call required. Our team is committed to providing excellent patient care and a supportive work environment.
