Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team at S&S Activewear LLC. As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on automated equipment, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on automated equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with automated equipment, including robotic systems and material handling equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and spare parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with operations team to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimal disruptions.

Requirements:

  • 6 months experience in a similar maintenance position.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • A clear understanding of mechanical tools and some electrical tools.
  • Ability to read and understand documents written in English.
  • Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Able to work overtime when required.
  • Willing to perform other duties as required.
  • Willing and open to learning new skills not yet acquired.
  • Must be a highly flexible individual that can adjust to changes quickly.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and holidays as needed to maintain maximum uptime on all robotic equipment and systems.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Basic or higher level of computers, Microsoft.
  • Ability to safely operate typical material handling equipment such as, forklifts and powered pallet jacks.

Working Environment:

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
