Clinical Nursing Supervisor

As a Clinical Nursing Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee nursing care activities within the facility during your shift, ensuring that the highest standards of resident care are consistently upheld.
Qualifications & Experience:
A current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state is required. CPR certification is mandatory. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or long-term care facility, is preferred.Key Responsibilities:
Address the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident. Collaborate in the development, revision, and communication of residents' care plans. Ensure that staff effectively implements care plans and monitors changes in resident conditions. Maintain up-to-date care plans for all residents under your supervision. Follow and execute physician's orders, providing comprehensive nursing care and treatments. Accurately transcribe physician's orders. Conduct daily reviews of patient records for accuracy and completeness. Document thorough nursing notes. Maintain awareness of residents on alert lists and conduct RN assessments as necessary. Report any significant findings and contact physicians when needed. Administer medications in accordance with established procedures. Initiate emergency procedures as required. Supervise the performance of Charge Nurses and CNAs. Foster positive relationships with residents and their families. Additional duties may be assigned by management.Specific Requirements:
Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Strong assessment skills are essential. Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies is required. Ability to make independent decisions when necessary. Tactful interaction with personnel, residents, families, and the public is crucial. Familiarity with nursing and medical practices, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care is necessary. Leadership and supervisory skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with both professional and non-professional staff. Competence in planning, organizing, and implementing quality care programs is required. Patience, tact, and a positive attitude are important, especially when dealing with challenging residents. Ability to communicate effectively regarding residents' conditions and emergency situations.About Athena Health Care Systems:
