We are seeking a skilled Nurse - LVN/LPT to join our team at Aegis Treatment Centers.

Salary Range: $24/hour-$30/hour + premium eligible, with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

About the Role:

As an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPT (Licensed Psychiatric Technician), you will provide basic medical services to patients in an outpatient recovery environment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining standards of professional nursing practice, administering medication according to company policy and procedures, and documenting patient records accurately.

Requirements:

  • Active and current California nursing/technician license, along with current CPR and first aid certification.
  • Experience with triaging in emergency situations, assisting with medical emergencies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement all aspects of receiving, storing, and dispensing controlled and non-controlled substances, performing daily reconciliation of controlled substances as required by federal and state regulations.
  2. Maintain accurate individual patient medication dosage sheets and urinalysis results, document and sign entries in patient treatment records as required by applicable federal and state regulations.
  3. Ensure patient confidentiality and security at the dispensing window, administer medication dosages and evaluate patients for side effects or reactions.
  4. Orient new patients to the programs' policies, rules, and procedures, maintain patient charts and filing, ensure knowledge of and observe applicable federal and state regulations.
