HW Kia of West County is seeking a dedicated Automotive Parts Specialist to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist both retail and workshop customers in identifying and selecting necessary automotive components in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Handle inquiries via electronic communication and phone, providing accurate pricing and information.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are accurately billed on service repair orders.
- Examine service estimates to confirm all required parts are available or on order.
- Inform service advisors and customers when special order parts arrive.
- Manage and track the issuance of requested shop tools to technicians.
- Replenish assigned inventory on a daily basis.
- Maintain organized records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
- Keep both front and rear counter areas tidy and organized.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with automotive technology and terminology.
- Experience with CDK software is preferred.
- Prior experience with the Kia automotive brand is advantageous.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to adapt to industry changes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
