Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC technician to join our team at UCP-Personnel Services. As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal air quality and comfort for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential maintenance risks on equipment and take proactive measures to prevent issues.
  • Diagnostic and Repair Services: Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and perform repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including technical direction and on-the-job training, to ensure customer satisfaction and comfort.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance functions, including daily logs and reports.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Valid driver's license, understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating, working knowledge of boiler systems, and proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice, and ability to work in confined spaces.
