Construction Project Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing all site construction activities, ensuring the highest quality, supervising trade and field personnel, administering construction safety practices, and successfully completing projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules, including master schedules, 60-day look ahead schedules, and two-week look ahead schedules.
- Implement and maintain corporate safety program requirements in day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Attend weekly meetings with foremen and superintendents.
- Prepare daily construction reports and ensure risk controls are properly established and maintained.
- Communicate issues requiring additional information from designers and assist in preparation of monthly status reports.
- Secure required permits and approvals from jurisdictional agencies.
- Work with project managers to identify and address constructability issues and develop comprehensive project strategies.
- Oversee daily field operations to ensure site safety, construction progress, quality control, and a clean site.
- Promote positive subcontractor relations and maintain an updated and accurate project schedule.
- Requires an Engineering, Construction Management, or related Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Requires 7+ years of experience working on core/shell projects, with previous hotel experience a plus.
- Requires working knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, and engineering drawings.
- NYC Buildings Construction Superintendent License and 10-Hour OSHA and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificate required.
- Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Timberline required.
