LinQuest Corporation: Seeking a Junior Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Engineer to join our team at LinQuest Corporation. As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and integration of complex systems-of-systems (SoS) for our customers in the US DOD and IC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning, development, and documentation of comprehensive Digital Engineering (DE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, coordinate, and document end-to-end systems development SE and MS&A Process Workflows.
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering processes and best practices, including architecture definition and management, requirements management, configuration and data management, and verification and validation management.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and robust synthesis and documentation of common and/or mission-specific digital modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in support of Customer-specific Cyber/IT framework and mandates.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on space or ground systems engineering and system-of-systems (SoS) development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with SysML modeling and simulation (M&S) tools, such as CATIA Cameo.
  • Working knowledge of complex dependencies, interactions, and integration of systems-of-system elements, including hardware and software constituent modeling, verification, and validation.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, as well as clear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance required.
Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledgeable in detail designs of satellite systems, ground-based mission systems, or mission operations.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution across the spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities.
  • Object Management Group SysML Model Builder Fundamental Certification.
