Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency disorders, head injury, stroke, aphasia, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication disorders.
  • Evaluate and Assess Patients: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose and assess patients' communication disorders.
  • Establish Treatment Goals and Milestones: Collaborate with patients and their families to establish realistic treatment goals and milestones.
  • Document and Store Treatment Plans and Progress Reports: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' treatment plans and progress.
  • Update Patient Progress to Relevant Parties: Communicate patients' progress to relevant healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Research Related Speech and Language Problems: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language pathology.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
  • Previous Experience in Speech Pathology: Have previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Familiarity with Communication Disorders: Have a strong understanding of communication disorders and their impact on patients' lives.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and Patient Demeanor: Demonstrate a positive and patient demeanor when working with patients and their families.
