Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling information and records to prepare purchase orders, verifying purchase order requests, and computing total costs of items purchased.

Responsibilities

• Main Duties:">
  • ">
  • Responsible for verifying purchase order (P.O.) requests;">
  • Compiles records for items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries and inventories;">
  • Computes total cost of items purchased;">
  • Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates;">
  • Verifies bill from suppliers with bids and purchase orders;">
  • Enters all new products and prices into database;">
  • Complies new database files for new products;">
  • Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedules;">
  • Ensures accuracy and efficiency; consult catalogs or contact vendors to obtain price availability information;">
  • Occasionally composes documents & letters and any other clerical duties;">
  • Responsible for keeping office area clean;">
  • Attend all staff meetings;">
  • Maintain confidentiality of office practices;">
  • Present recommendations to Manager;">
  • Assists in other duties as directed.">

Requirements

• Qualifications:">

  • 1+ year work-related experience preferably in the home building/construction industry;">
  • High school diploma (or GED);">
  • College degree is a plus;">
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen;">
  • Must have reliable transportation;">

Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per year
