We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lobby Ambassador to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients, families, and visitors have an exceptional experience at our hospital.
About the RoleThe Lobby Ambassador will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our guests, answering inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with our security team to maintain a safe and secure environment, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Visitor Management: Manage visitor flow, register visitors, and issue ID badges as needed.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate effectively with staff and patients to resolve issues and provide information.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with security, nursing, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of high-volume customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
