Position SummaryThe Environmental Studies Program is seeking a qualified pro tem instructor to teach courses in environmental studies. The successful candidate will have the potential to offer teaching that is engaged, inclusive, and research-informed, and that meets curricular needs in Environmental Studies degree programs. These programs include undergraduate degrees in Environmental Studies and Environmental Science, the master's degree in Environmental Studies, and the PhD in Environmental Sciences, Studies, and Policy (ESSP).
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in environmental studies, including topics such as environmental science, sustainable resource development, environmental health, ecological sustainability, and environmental justice.
- Develop and implement curricula that meet the needs of Environmental Studies degree programs.
- Contribute to the development of the Environmental Studies Program through service and research.
A master's degree in Environmental Studies or a related field is required. Relevant experience in teaching and research is preferred.
