JOB SUMMARY: The Environmental Services Associate plays a crucial role in upholding the mission by ensuring a tidy, safe, and organized atmosphere. This position supports the staff by maintaining the facility's cleanliness and functionality. The Associate is entrusted with decision-making responsibilities aligned with organizational guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Promotes and adheres to the values of the Catholic organization
  • Embodies Gospel principles by exemplifying the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Follows the Religious Standards, policies, and procedures set forth by the Archdiocese
  • Maintains confidentiality concerning sensitive information
  • Performs daily cleaning of rooms, kitchens, hallways, and carpeted areas
  • Disinfects bathrooms daily and ensures supplies are replenished
  • Collects and disposes of trash from offices and dining areas each day
  • Conducts regular cleaning tasks on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis
  • Assists in the setup and breakdown for meetings and special events
  • Periodically sanitizes frequently touched surfaces such as door handles and telephones
  • Maintains cleanliness of exterior entrances and walkways
  • Applies universal precautions in all cleaning practices
  • Secures issued keys, locks buildings, turns off lights, and adjusts thermostats
  • Exhibits professionalism in behavior, appearance, and work ethic
  • Maintains a work schedule that maximizes availability to support staff
IMPORTANT JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Collaborates with colleagues to enhance the work environment
  • Responds to emergency cleanups and repairs as necessary
  • Conducts routine maintenance and minor repair tasks
  • Oversees and evaluates the work of external contractors
  • Communicates maintenance and repair needs to the principal
