Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist PRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, provide, and coordinate all aspects of direct patient care for a designated group of patients/clients in accordance with established facility and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional occupation therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the delivery of occupational therapy services provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians/aides.
  • May be assigned to assume the duties and responsibilities of the team leader in the absence of that individual.
  • Achieve productivity targets.
  • Responsible for safe use and care of all therapy and office equipment used.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment and report malfunctioning equipment.
Requirements
  • Current Iowa licensure, registration, and/or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) as per state regulations by the state(s) working in.
  • Graduate from an accredited education program for OTs and is eligible to take or has passed the examination for OTs administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
  • BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
  • Personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
