About the Role

The Logistics Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers. This includes planning and executing the most efficient routes, communicating with customers and team members, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Transport finished goods to designated locations using a delivery truck.
  • Loading and securing goods for transportation is a critical part of this role.
  • Prior to and after each trip, inspect the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Develop and implement efficient routes for deliveries, taking into account traffic and weather conditions.
  • Coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise with effective communication.
  • Accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption must be maintained.
  • Any mechanical issues with the delivery vehicle must be reported promptly.
  • Regularly maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it remains in excellent condition.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with clients.
  • Support warehouse operations when not delivering, including managing inventory and fulfilling orders.
