Fertilizer Technician

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fertilizer Technician to join our team at Simplot Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of job responsibilities, including delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers, equipment and plant maintenance, and fertilizer blending.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities.
- Perform varied responsibilities such as equipment and plant maintenance, including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping responsibilities.
- Load and deliver fertilizer and chemicals to customers.
- Operate equipment to blend fertilizer.
- Monitor product application by calculating amounts, calibrating equipment, controlling application rates, and cleaning and storing equipment after application process.
- Receive and unload product and perform warehouse inventory and storage functions.
- 1+ years related experience and/or training.
- Tractor applicator license.
- Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation.
