Job Opportunity

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join its dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans using standardized assessment tools and collaborative approaches.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans and integrative strategies that promote optimal outcomes.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as co-treatments with other disciplines, to address the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies.
  • Design and implement play-based and goal-oriented interventions to enhance receptive and expressive language skills, taking into account individual sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
  • Facilitate engaging and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals, promoting functional communication and social interaction.
  • Collaborate with children and families to understand their values, interests, and goals, and develop personalized strategies to support their communication needs.
  • Contribute to program development and implementation, ensuring that all aspects of the child's development are considered, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
  • Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment, promoting a seamless transition between therapy sessions and daily life.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the state of California.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with children.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • A strong appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Proficiency in using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a commitment to safeguarding patient information.
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica is committed to supporting the well-being of its team members, offering a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching and rapid vesting, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development and continuing education, and referral bonuses.

The base pay range for this position is $87,377 to $109,222, with compensation adjusted based on skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location.
