About the Role
As a Charge Nurse at Providence, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to patients with cancer. With a focus on whole-person care, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nurses in providing direct patient care and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement patient care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- 1 year of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
