Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Select Medical. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
  • Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.
  • Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
  • Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
  • Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
  • Current State licensure required.
  • BLS if required by State.
  • Must maintain a current license in the state of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency is preferred.
