Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our public works projects and ensure their successful execution. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing public works construction, alteration, and installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, review, and coordinate public infrastructure construction, alteration, and installation projects.
- Prepare project cost estimates and review bids to recommend contract awards.
- Administer contracts and coordinate resources to ensure smooth and efficient construction activities.
- Organize and direct the planning, design, development, and implementation of assigned projects.
- Train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Three years' experience working as a licensed civil engineer performing project design, plan check review, and construction management.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Possession of a valid license as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering by the State of California.
