Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team in Burke, Virginia.

Job Summary

The Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the medical facility's instruments, equipment, and sterile environments necessary for procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the physician and procedural team in implementing the perioperative plan of care.
  • Prepare the endoscopy room by opening supplies, instruments, and devices based on scheduled procedure and physician preference card.
  • Exercise care in the operation and use of instruments/equipment/and report/follow the appropriate procedure for broken items.
  • Follow OSHA and hospital infection control policies at all times.
  • Maintain continuing education by complying with mandatory re-orientation yearly and keeps educational profile up to date.
Requirements
  • Education: High school or equivalent.
  • Certification: BLS from AHA upon start.

Shift: Day. Schedule - Must be available 10 hours per day at 4 Shifts per week. Location - Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.
