Recreational Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recreational Aide Acute, Part-Time to join our team at AltaPointe Health Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Recreational Specialist to design and implement recreation and activity therapies for consumers.
- Develop and lead recreation therapy groups to promote consumer engagement and skill development.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and interaction with consumers to ensure their needs are met.
- Assist with special events and activities to promote a positive and inclusive environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of consumer progress and activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, cultural diversity, and behavior management principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, sitting, and walking.
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Strong grasp and pushing/pulling force required.
