Job Summary:

At Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, we're looking for a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you'll play a crucial role in preparing our delicious bakery items, ensuring high standards of food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bake and prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications.
  • Display and merchandise our bakery items in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, bakery cases, and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Control food costs and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Utilize FIFO standards when preparing items and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry trays of food products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
