Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and design, ranging from fundamental static assessments to intricate dynamic evaluations utilizing finite element methods and various degrees of freedom techniques.

  • Compile detailed calculation packages and technical documentation, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary to gather site-specific data.
  • Participate in testing as dictated by project needs, while fostering relationships with existing clients and exploring opportunities with new clients and markets.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on structural dynamics and design.
  • This role necessitates a security clearance; selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
  • Factors influencing security clearance eligibility include credit history, criminal background, prior substance use, and U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ideal candidates will be self-driven, possess strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum GPA of 3.00.
  • A Master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • Relevant work experience or internships are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with finite element analysis tools and engineering software such as MathCad, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, and AutoCAD is preferred.
  • An interest in project management and business development is a plus.
