We are seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team as a MedSurg / Telemetry Specialist. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional looking to make a difference in the lives of patients.

About the Role:

This position involves working as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. As a MedSurg / Telemetry Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a MedSurg / Telemetry setting.
  • A strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
