About the Role

As a Cause Mapping Instructor at ThinkReliability, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality training to our clients. This position will serve as the face of the company, conducting training courses both virtually and in-person. You will work across various industries, applying practical problem-solving principles and concepts to a wide array of incidents and topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Training Content: Provide quality Cause Mapping workshop training across diverse industries, ensuring a tailored approach to meet our clients' unique goals.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and reliability through interactions with customers and colleagues, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Engage with Diverse Audiences: Effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of audiences, from frontline workers to senior-level executives, fostering relationships and providing ongoing support.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought-leadership content for training, facilitation, and marketing materials, showcasing expertise in Cause Mapping.
  • Professional Development: Continuously enhance skills through activities such as creating example Cause Map diagrams, participating in internal calibration calls, and watching recorded workshops and short courses.
  • Investigation and Coaching: Facilitate investigations, virtually or onsite, across various industries, providing quality Cause Map investigation files and coaching clients to ensure understanding of deliverables.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel approximately 24 weeks a year, engaging in domestic and international trips to deliver training and collaborate with clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science discipline, with 3+ years of engineering/technical experience. Advanced degree(s), including an MBA, are a plus.
  • Problem-Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interact within all levels of an organization.
  • Process Improvement Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge and application of process improvement processes, with a proven ability to comprehend complex systems and processes.
  • Self-Starter and Entrepreneurial Spirit: Showcase a proven self-starter mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit, seeking to drive results and growth.
