Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current medications.
- Prepare patients for provider evaluations, including obtaining specimens and positioning for exams.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including exam and treatment rooms.
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient education and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Virginia (LPN) required.
- AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
