About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E&I Technician to join our team at our Baltimore, MD manufacturing location. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance service to production lines, performing and developing preventive, predicted, and reactive maintenance procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance service to production lines, including performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to equipment and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and equipment histories.
  • Participate in plant EHS programs and assist in developing them for new equipment.
  • Perform general and specialized facility, IT, and electrical maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assist in production line set-ups and change-overs as required.
  • Analyze machine error messages and information from operators to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Help establish repair frequencies, PMs, and parts inventories for new and existing equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a continuous process environment.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, including experience using Maximo.
  • Ability to understand computer database functions and maintain and/or set up database functions as needed.
  • Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge with the ability to develop and troubleshoot communication problems on all types of AB comm networks.
  • Experience with control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, and motor starters.
  • Ability to follow and maintain detailed repair procedures and good communication skills.
