Job Summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital NH is seeking a skilled Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our interventional radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Must hold current ARRT certification and NH state license
  • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on interventional radiology or cath lab procedures
    • Current BLS certification
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous experience in IR or cath lab procedures
    • IR neuro experience a plus
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in performing procedures such as picc lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placement, ablations, ESI, EKOS for PE, and Trevo for Stroke
  • Personal Qualities
    • Hardworking and team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills
  • Schedule and Work Environment
    • Day shift and night shift opportunities available, with on-call responsibilities every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight
    • Work in a dynamic hospital environment with a team of 4 IR nurses and 4 IR techs, caring for an average of 10 patients per room
  • Equipment and Resources
    • State-of-the-art Philips biplane and Toshiba single-plane equipment
    • Scrubs provided by the hospital
