Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Flight Control Systems Engineer, you will:

Typical Duties Include:
  • Providing technical and programmatic support for Navy aircraft platforms, including F-35, E-2, and F-18.
  • Conducting control law design and analysis.
  • Evaluating redundancy management for safety-critical control systems.
  • Executing Flight Control System integration testing, including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-aircraft assessments.
  • Analyzing flight control systems, including flight control computers, software, hydraulic and electromechanical actuators, and mechanical flight control linkages.
  • Supporting flight control system software activities.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Requires US Citizenship).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Flight Control Law design and analysis, Flight Control system simulation and hardware in the loop, Flight Control system testing (ground, flight, and lab environments), Flight Control Software development, integration, analysis, and testing.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $90,000-150,000, with actual compensation determined based on various factors as permitted by law. AMERICAN SYSTEMS is dedicated to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners.
