Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing equipment, as well as performing repairs and restorations. You will work closely with our project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, and test equipment according to specifications and building codes
  • Perform repairs and restorations of systems and equipment
  • Communicate daily with project managers to ensure project progress and address any issues
  • Work with project managers to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to clients and service departments
  • Collaborate with field engineers to ensure system compliance
  • Train apprentices on company procedures, systems, and installation techniques
  • Participate in 24-hour on-call rotation as a technician
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the electronics field with daily use of AC/DC theory
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Valid US driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in the electronics field with daily use of AC/DC theory
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Aptitude for learning system programming

Physical Demands
  • Ability to communicate effectively (see, hear, speak, and write clearly)
  • Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, bending, squatting, and lifting of moderate objects
  • Operation of power and manual tools/equipment
Working Conditions
  • Site work conditions similar to typical construction projects
  • Work at required heights using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other equipment
  • Work in confined spaces as necessary
  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions or cold/heat temperatures
  • Travel required, including day trips and occasional overnight hotel stays
