Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for Schools

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
  • A valid Colorado Department of Education SLPA License is mandatory.
  • Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to create tailored treatment plans based on assessments and individual client goals.

2. Therapy Implementation: Provide effective speech and language therapy interventions as per the established treatment plans, focusing on enhancing clients' communication skills.

3. Documentation: Keep precise and organized records of client progress, including session notes and treatment updates.

4. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with the supervising SLP regarding client progress and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts.
