Key Responsibilities:- Administer IV infusions and injections for patients with chronic illnesses, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of treatment.
- Collaborate with ordering providers to discuss patient care plans and ensure seamless communication.
- Educate patients about the risks, benefits, and side effects of their medications, promoting informed decision-making.
- Review and verify medical records, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans to ensure accurate and comprehensive care.
- Assist in managing registered nurses and other staff within the clinic, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or post-master level certificate in pediatrics.
- Current basic life support/AED & ACLS certification.
- Minimum two years of experience in a hospital, clinic, and/or ambulatory setting caring for children and adults.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
