Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI.

• Circulate on cases in the Operating Room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
• Monitor, assess, and administer medications to patients in the immediate postoperative period, prioritizing their care and well-being.
• Provide patient education and prepare patients for discharge from the perioperative area, empowering them to take control of their health.

• Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications necessary.
• Minimum of two years experience in Med-Surg or previous perioperative experience, with a strong foundation in critical care and surgical nursing.

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital, serving a community of approximately 30,000 people. Our hospital features a 4-bed ICU, 3-bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units, with a 24/7 emergency department staffed by ER physicians.
