As a Class A Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting various types of cargo across the country. You will operate step deck flatbed trailers and utilize your expertise in securing loads properly.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport freight according to established routes and schedules.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Secure cargo properly using appropriate straps, chains, and other equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving time, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 12 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months.
  • At least 6 months of flatbed driving experience within the past 2 years.
  • Clean driving record with no preventable DOT accidents in the last 12 months and no major tickets in the past 3 years.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Age 21 or older.
