UF Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring during procedures
  • Record and document patient data, including medical histories and procedure outcomes
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or Radiologic Technologist program
  • Credentialing by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Radiography (R)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a cardiac cath lab or similar environment
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
