Job Overview

About the Role
">As a Direct Support Staff, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining their personal space, and providing emotional support when needed. You will also be responsible for performing routine residence maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to ensure the overall well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities
">* Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
* Maintain residents' personal space, including laundry and cleaning
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
* Perform routine residence maintenance tasks, including cleaning and laundry
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless resident care and services
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
">* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid Connecticut driver's license and eligibility for Network Human Services auto insurance
