About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Youth Apprentice to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This is an excellent opportunity for a high school student to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare industry while completing their youth apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with procedures ordered by physicians and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Accommodate patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living, and transfer/transport.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Current enrollment in High School and qualification in the Youth Apprenticeship program per School requirements.
