We are seeking a dedicated and passionate VPK Teacher to join our team at Davie Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans to promote intellectual and creative growth in preschool-aged children
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Develop and maintain schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with parents on students' progress and growth
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields
  • Passion for working with children and commitment to their development
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents
  • Positive and patient demeanor, with excellent communication skills
