Pet Groomer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team at Calico Creek Feed & Pet. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and grooming services to our furry clients. If you have a passion for animals and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comb, clip, trim, and shape animal coats using knowledge of animal characteristics and grooming techniques.
• Bathe animals using the necessary shampoos and chemical solutions to rid them of fleas and other parasites.
• Clip animal nails and clean ears and eyes.
• Develop a rapport with animals to make the grooming process easier and more enjoyable for both the animal and the groomer.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided to customers and keep customer information on file for future visits.
• Assist with laundry and help keep the Self-Wash clean and supplied with fresh towels.

Requirements:

• Experience in animal grooming is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
