Job Opportunity at Guidepost Montessori

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to support our mixed-age Montessori classrooms on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide educational support to students in a mixed-age Montessori classroom setting
  • Implement lesson plans and activities designed to promote student learning and development
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed center or preschool with children of the same age as enrolled in our school
  • Some college credits in Child Development or Early Childhood Education (A Child Development Associates credential is preferred, but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Valid state background check and warm, friendly demeanor
