We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at a Clothing Distribution Company in San Bernardino, CA. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a safe, secure, and productive manner.
Key Responsibilities- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
- Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.
- Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary.
- Report quality variances.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Operate forklift in performance of order filling duties when required.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
- Conduct physical inventories as required.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
