About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Credentialing Coordinator to join our team at Global Channel Management. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of business experience in healthcare provider credentialing and will be responsible for terminating providers who do not comply with credentialing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepares and executes outbound communications related to credentialing events
* Researches discrepancies related to provider information
* Supports the preparation of weekly rosters to present providers for committee approvals/denials
Requirements:
* High School Diploma
* 2-3 years business experience with healthcare provider credentialing
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access)
* Knowledge of credentialing/provider industry
* Demonstrates sense of urgency
* Experience with operating systems such as EDW/Business Objects
