At Albany Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Intensivist to join our team in the Adult Cardiac Cath Lab.
About the Role:
We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and providing a collaborative environment for our staff. As a Cardiovascular Intensivist in this role, you will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
You will also order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions, assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered. Your sound nursing judgment will guide patient care management decisions, and you will collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients. Directing and guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining standards of professional nursing will be essential aspects of this role.
