We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Duke Health Surgical Oncology Clinic. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our board-certified surgeons to develop and implement treatment plans.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families. You will also work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care and education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher)
- At least 12 months of relevant clinical experience
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Oncology experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
