RN Medical Surgery Unit Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ambulatory Surgery Center and Post-Anesthesia Care Units. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a hospital-based facility and outpatient surgery center.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care during the perioperative process, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Participate in process improvements to enhance patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and unit efficiency.
- Float between two facilities to gain diverse experience in perioperative care and develop skills in various surgical specialties.
- Meet all state board of nursing requirements and maintain current RN licensure within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- 2 years or more of acute care experience, with a focus on perioperative care.
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Other unit-specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
- Relocation assistance up to $3,000 per policy.
