Position Summary & Duties

WORKING IN A CORRECTIONAL ENVIRONMENT

COMPENSATION: $32 PER HOUR

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care for patients in a clinical environment within a correctional facility.

The CNA will deliver services in accordance with the established protocols and regulations of the facility. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support patients with daily living activities and administer nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse;
  • Conduct and document patient rounds, monitoring for any changes in condition and communicating findings to the RN;
  • Collect specimens for laboratory analysis;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care;
  • Prepare necessary documentation for patient transfers or specialist appointments;
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and complete required reports;
  • Ensure cleanliness and functionality of medical equipment;
  • Manage inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
Qualifications
Current CNA Certification;Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association;Minimum of one year of experience as a CNA.
