Medical Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of patient information.
- Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing, and other medical procedures.
- Conduct audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTs, nebulizer treatments, and urine tests.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examinations and provide assistance to physicians during exams.
- Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Perform venipuncture and point-of-care testing.
- Administer EKGs.
- Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
- Bi-lingual, English/Spanish speaking.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Salary up to $22 per hour.
