Job Summary

Cedar Wellness Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver whole-person care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing point-of-care testing, and monitoring patient response to treatment.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring a comprehensive and compassionate approach to care.
  • Participate in case conferences and share knowledge, information, and ideas with team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Record accurate and complete patient information, including medical records, medication charts, and progress notes.
  • Order medical supplies, maintain inventory, and record use as per regulations.
  • Administer and dispense medications and vaccines in accordance with applicable regulations and policy.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a certified LVN/LPN program.
  • Active LVN/LPN license in good standing.
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening.
  • Ability to provide health and TB clearance.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality, safety, and respectful treatment of all colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification.
  • 2 years of recent/previous work experience in a substance use disorder setting.
